Glass Rovings
Properties:
rovings for spray-up are characterized by good
chopping and distribution and fast wet-out rate.Rovings
for gypsum reinforcement possess good distribution and affinity
with gypsum.Rovings for filament winding are of good tapping,fast
wet-out rate and good evenness of tensioning.
Applications:
directly used in the manufacture of reinforced product,and
also used as a intermediate material of some woven fabrics
and non-woven fabrics.They are divided into chopped strands(e.g.rovings
for gypsum reinforcement and rovings for spray-up)and continuous
strands(e.g.rovings for filament winding).
